This is 'Choshma Shahitto' - an experimental photo series created by my friend Tanwir Hasan and me. The photographs were taken 8 years ago at the Ekushey Book Fair premises in Dhaka. Our aim was to explore political, cultural, social and media icons from different POVs and find out what comes out of the subjectivity of the frame. The experiment allowed us to explore themes of unity and division.
Tanwir had hatched the original idea, after which we joined hands to develop the language. We would like to thank Raisul Islam for his generous help during the shoot.
